All volunteers that apply will need to live in Central Florida (Brevard County or East Orlando)
The pre-production meeting starts at 8:00pm and show ends at 12:30pm and wraps up 1:30pm. All live events can run around four hours and setup and strike can be an hour as well.

Marketing and Advertising Coordinator:
We need go-getters: People, who can set goals and achieve them, we are seeking team players that can market the show through all facets of the advertising. Who also can do promotional sales, marketing, and customer service and sponsor management. Also a self motive fund raiser for the show. Finding, developing and building strong relationships, Ability to handle ad design logos advertisement. Has the ability to work at home. Reports to Executive Producer
Producer:
Oversees the production of a radio show and associate producers. The producer may organize the show content, etc. Book celebrity guests and interviews for the show. Come up with ideas, write and produce commercials for the show. Leads the preproduction and post production meetings(devotions, the go over the night show) Plan shows, e nsure that the studio, control room and green room is clean before leaving for the night. Attend preproduction and post production show meeting Reports to Executive Producer
Creative Director:
Looking for creative pro with the ability to crank out compelling show promo's, imaging and commercial production. Who can work under pressure; meet deadlines, and organizational skills with attention to detail. Reports to Executive Producer, Marketing and Advertising Coordinator
Has the ability to work at home. Reports to Executive Producer and Producer.
Associate Producer:
Oversees the production of the radio show. The associate producer may organize callers for talk back radio, line up music, etc. May book celebrity guests and craft great interviews for the show. Come up with ideas and write and produce commercials for the show. Ensure that the studio, control room and green room are clean before leaving for the night. Produce remote broadcasts, ensuring the promotional table is set up and broadcast is ready to go and all personnel are doing their job. Attend preproduction show meeting. Reports to Producer
Radio Personalities:
Responsible for bringing creative and/or topical content and will find show topics. Read the Local newspapers along with outside sources on a daily basis. Must be able to communicate with On-Air personality active listeners. Attend preproduction and post production show meeting. Reports to Executive Producer
Should be energetic, highly creative, loves remotes and public appearances, and is not afraid to work. You must have great people skills; engaging, witty, comfortable company, energetic, and interesting. If you can feel a vast variety of hit songs from the past five decades - and convey that passion to an adult audience. Literate and knowledgeable of Christian Rock genre. Must have good interviewing skills. You'll also be expected to perform voice over work for commercials and to voice track
Events Coordinator:
Assist the radio show in all areas of operation dealing with radio remotes and special projects. Proficient organizing skills, meet deadlines, accurate follow-through on all projects, and assist others as needed. Handle more than one assignment at a time and perform quickly under pressure situations. Self-starter, work under pressure, handles stress, and accept responsibilities for work while performing under moderate supervision. Attend preproduction show meeting. Reports to Executive Assistant
Promotions Coordinator:
Promote the show at remotes, activities, events and promotions. Promotional support to include the assistance in planning and coordinating events. Additional assistance may be needed at any/all events. Event coordinating, and responsible for supervising remote assistant staff. Responsible to setup promotions table and be at events to promote the show. Ensure that all promotions martial (food, drinks and Etc.. is at show) Attend preproduction show meeting .
Reports to Executive Assistant, Events Coordinator
Audio Engineer:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, Operating, maintains, and repair studio, transmitter and technical equipment. Complete routine maintenance, create procedures and schedules. Procure/Create/Repair Equipment wiring and installation as required. Ensure that all broadcast equipment is operated and maintained in accordance with all applicable regulations. Maintain spare parts inventory. Remote broadcast Ensuring all equipment at location is setup and ready to be used and than returned to original locations. Works to train all board operators for studio and remote use of all equipment. Attend preproduction show meeting. Reports to Chief Audio Engineer
Board Operator:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, operation of studio audio consoles and automation systems for live broadcasts, assisting in remote broadcasts on location or at station. Reports to Chief Audio Engineer
Music Programmer/Production Assistant:
Is responsible for Automation. Programming music, bumps, show pause time, changing ramp time and assuring total length. Takes input from the public and the show when programming music. Also responsible for video recording and take pictures of all guest on the show. Reports to Chief Audio Engineer
Website Content Producer:
The Website Content Producer will work closely with Godsquad Radio show to develop new online content in relation to the station's emerging Internet offerings. Godsquad Radio is a news and information brand so previous experience in a current events, news or information focused on-line company is preferred. Experience using Word, Excel, Power Point, Photo shop is critical and the ability to communicate in a fast paced and demanding environment is expected. Reports to Executive Producer
Webmaster:
The Webmaster is responsible for the day-to-day operations, maintenance and upkeep of Godsquadradio.com and myspace. This person will assure that all web pages comply to Godsquad Radio's brand of standards as well as coordinate web functions, and enhancements to the website. The candidate requires a good balance of design, layout, programming, communication, project management and organizational skills. Reports to Website Content Producer
Internship Program:
Godsquad Radio seeks to provide a practical and comprehensive internship program for high school and college students committed to a career in media/broadcasting through their major declaration, college clubs and/or organizations, prior media based internships or prior media work experience. Grade Point average, community service and leadership experience are also an important part of the total assessment of student applicants. Candidates should be seeking degrees in Broadcasting, Mass Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, and/or other media-related disciplines.
To be eligible for the internship, the student must be a sophomore, junior or senior in good standing at a High School or College.
General Information: Godsquad Radio Internships are unpaid. Applicants must be at least 16 years of age, with a driver licenses and currently a sophomore, junior or senior in High School, college or university and is expected to work a minimum of 6 hours per week during a 12 week internship period. Intern's hours must be flexible enough to allow work on weekends during Shows events and appearances. Interns MUST receive academic credit for the internship and must provide the necessary paperwork from the academia within one week of your acceptance as a Godsquad Radio intern. All interns are subject to the applicable Godsquad Radio Employee Rules and Code of Conduct.
Application Procedures: Intern candidates must complete an application form and submit it with a cover letter including a 250 word essay on their personal reasons for wanting to be apart of a radio ministry. General Intern Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
Learn first-hand how to:
- Operate control room consoles, electronic equipment, mini-disc players, recorders, on-location recording equipment.
- Planning and executing on-location live remotes and broadcasts.
- Produce commercial, public service announcements, conduct live interviews with government officials, musicians and others.
- Work with Programming and on-air talent. (Interns News on air this will be a section process)
- Set-up of contests and merchandising
- Representing Godsquad Radio at remotes, expos, fairs and other appearances
- Promotion and Event Planning, web page updates
- Promotion and Event Implementation
Additionally, Interns will be assigned a specific project, which will require base planning, development and execution. This will provide time management, detail oriented and creative experience necessary in any broadcast environment. Each intern will be assessed on there job as to see if they go to the next level of radio. When the intern completes this program, they should have the basic skills producing commercial and promotional events and ability to produce a show.
They should be able to critically analyze a broadcast situation, have familiarity with current events, entertainment and hard news as well as have a top of mind recognition of the station's broadcast lineup and target demographics. Interns should have a basic knowledge of industry terms.
